ANSI may be preferable if it matches the rest of your devices, if you frequently share keyboards with ANSI users, or if the longer left Shift and horizontal Enter key feel more natural. Programmers, gamers, and other frequent users often make this decision based on familiar key positions rather than a universal ergonomic advantage.
For a planned switch, try both layouts before buying when possible. Also consider operating-system mappings, replacement keycap availability, programmable firmware, and whether you will use the keyboard for general typing, coding, gaming, or multilingual work.
